Another brilliant #MASCC24 conference, Alex Chan, PharmD, MPH and Melissa Chin. Thank you Anne May and the PREFERABLE team for the opportunity to speak. Was also great for our Disparities Committee to meet; as well as Study Group Leaders. See you in Seattle for #MASCC2025!
Pleased to launch our UTS Health Course Video for the UTS School of Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (MCEP) degree: youtube.com/watch?v=pdVHBB… - perfectly representing everything our course offers its students as future accredited exercise physiologists. ESSA.
Two new papers by MASCC’s Cognition Fellow Dr. Darren Haywood on Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment - (1) time-based strategies to support people with CRCI (link.springer.com/article/10.118…) and (2) describing the interplay of CRCI with psychopathology (link.springer.com/article/10.100…).
Reconceptualising mental health in cancer survivorship: Dr. Darren Haywood. We propose the considered use and potential utility of HiTOP (sciencedirect.com/science/articl…) as an approach relative to the DSM (sciencedirect.com/science/articl…). More original research in cancer populations required.
Developing the COG-IMPACT tool: a purpose-built unmet needs assessment for people experiencing Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment - ( accompanies other tools which identify the presence/severity of CRCI ): mdpi.com/2409-9279/7/4/…. Led by MASCC Cognition Fellow Dr. Darren Haywood.
Incredibly grateful for the fellowship and thank you Nicolas Hart for inviting me to the group when I first attended MASCC in 2023.
A great partnership developing in Clinical Exercise Physiology between our Northern Sydney Local Health District friends and our team at UTS Moore Park Precinct - UTS Health / UTS School of Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation. Grateful to have such a strong community of Accredited Exercise Physiologists in NSW - ESSA.
