Some exciting news! This July, I'll be serving as an English Language Specialist in Indonesia with the Department of State. I'm acutely aware of how fortunate I am to do this work. I can't wait to share how we support students at San Diego College of Continuing Education and to learn from my Indonesian educator-peers!

Day 2 of Academic Senate for California Community Colleges Noncredit Institute. I enjoyed presenting on noncredit pathways. It was also great to join the closing panel. As a practitioner who has served in noncredit advocacy and work over a decade it’s exciting, lots of momentum & value being placed in noncredit.

Last night we ended our spring semester with Resistance Cohort! This was a growth semester that challenged & helped us all grow This is the first time in my 5 years teaching PELSA to have the same cohort for a full year. Great experience!

Theresa Palafox, a licensed clinical counselor found a creative outlet at San Diego College of Continuing Education through the college’s baking and pastry program. Now, in addition to serving the community as a counselor she is also a Pastry Chef-Baking Business Owner.
