A very long awaited general election just on the horizon. For me, very close between Greens and Labour, this year - both for very different reasons. This GE I will be voting for Matthew Wright for Braintree to finally oust the Tories. Hopefully PR will be in place too, soon! 🤞

It has been five years since the Gender Autonomy Act was passed in Iceland. In those five years, none of the usual fears that anti-trans advocates warn against have manifested - and trans people, non-binary people and intersex people have enjoyed increased rights and protections.

There are also policies made every party standing which I disagree with, including the ones I tend to favour more than others. This is why we need people in politics to work together to establish common sense, practical and empathetic resolutions, to benefit everyone.

Feeling relieved I don’t live in Chelmsford right now (my home place) as I would be in a real voting pickle with the FPTP two-horse race being between Tories and Lib Dem’s - although Marie Goldman from the LD is genuinely decent and probably deserving of it tbf (good counsellor)
