In Utah, candidates need 40% of convention delegate votes or enough voter signatures to qualify for primary. Maloy was a 'convention-only' candidate.

Delegates at the CD7 GOP convention have chosen not to endorse a candidate in #mn07 . Republican U.S. Rep. Michelle Fischbach and her challenger, Steve Boyd, will proceed to the August primary without the party’s stamp of approval.
