Well done Hazel R. Douglas, Constance Owens would be very proud of your efforts to further develop her beloved profession of which she was a pioneer. She was also instrumental in the birth of Royal College of Occupational Therapists as the Association of Occupational Therapists in 1936.
So proud that Constance Owens was at the forefront of setting up both the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and WFOT. Next week we meet as trustees to decide on our next PhD/Post-doctoral £15,000 award for 2023 in her memory. Building the future as she did in her day.
Congratulations to Alicia Ridout winner of our 2023 PhD award of £15,000.00 to complete her study of digital clinical safety for older people accessing adult Social care occupational therapy services. We look forward to supporting you over the next three year to completion.
