One of the main areas of concern in US civil-military relations is the risk of growing political activity in the ranks. But before addressing that, there must be consensus on what constitutes political activity. Promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion does not qualify, mwi.westpoint.edu/lgbtq-inclusioโฆ
I really enjoyed Charlie Thomas โs lively presentation to the Army War College Civ-Mil Relations Center. The discussion of the civ-mil implications of the transition from colonies to states was fascinating. Wish I could have been there in person rather than via Zoom.
A timely discussion on Congress and how it interacts with cultural change in the military by Kate Kuzminski to the USAWC Civil-Military Relations Center.
