As one lives longer with HIV & ages, the risk of developing non-communicable conditions (NCDs) increases. Regular screening for NCDs is therefore very important for all PLHIV ageing with the condition & all older persons.

Aging with HIV is a major research area that we need to invest heavily in both in biomedical studies and psychosocial studies if we are to save more lives of people aging with HIV.
