My method for teaching 1000 lessons each year: map it out in my composition book…remember, 1.5 hour classes. Then on to the “Daily Agenda” that a student reads each day. When finished , we all “clap it up” before they take out essential materials. Planning for Monday! 👨🏽‍🏫❤️🌈

What a phenomenal week, in and out my the classroom. I gave as much as I could and was repaid more fully than could have imagined by my students. Oh and that debate! As inspired as I can ever remember being. Orange V4 (not V 5)…a bit sketchy! 🧗🏽❤️🌈

Proud to have taught my 7th graders about how the artificial social construct of race was created, and all with a simple index card. When the Spanish began to enslave natives, they defined the natives as being the same, inferior and a “race”. The Spanish became “blanco”.
