In collaboration with Swinburne Sarawak, our inaugural regional Journalism Training Workshop brought together journalists from 🇲🇾 Sarawak, Sabah, KL & 🇧🇳 for insightful discussions & knowledge sharing on the media & info environment in this region.

It’s worth celebrating 🇦🇺-🇧🇳 cooperation to strengthen ASEAN. Judging by our wonderful celebration together yesterday during Tiffany McDonald’s visit, it’s obvious that Finance Minister Amin, business leaders, several Permanent Secretaries & Bruneians from many walks of life agree!

Lots of warmth in this meeting between representatives from two countries which take ASEAN and its central role in our region’s governance incredibly seriously.

Just finished a scrumptious vegetarian banquet for visiting 🇮🇳 PM Modi, who spoke about the importance of upholding UNCLOS in the South China Sea. PM Modi also emphasised that India wants to work with 🇧🇳 and the region ‘for development, not expansion’. All great news for 🇦🇺!

This deepening cooperation between 🇧🇳 and 🇮🇳 is good for 🇦🇺 and the broader Indo-Pacific region.
