Findings suggest that recommending against future surveillance colonoscopy in older adults with low-risk colonoscopy findings and/or limited life expectancy should be considered more frequently than is currently practiced. ja.ma/3mEaKYQ

We tried to emphasize when there were differences between an 'adequate' & optimal colonoscopy / colonoscopist. As an example, we suggested a mean normal colonoscopy WT of >=6 min (aspirational target 9 min) & ADR of >=30% (aspirational 35%).

Pleased to co-author (w/ Seth Crockett & Audrey Calderwood) the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) CPU 'Strategies to Improve Quality of Screening and Surveillance Colonoscopy' in Gastroenterology. While Seth made this great figure highlighting some recommendations, hope people read the entire article.
