Great to see Spirit of 2012 continuing to promote the wellbeing impacts of participatory music making interventions, and importantly the evidence we were able to generate about 'what works' from our evaluation of the Carers Music Fund with What Works Centre for Wellbeing
Delighted to have played a role in this evaluation, in particular around the potential economic benefits of #HealthNow . Some really important learning about how to embed lived experience in service delivery too. Thanks to Groundswell for asking us to be part of this work.
This morning, Emily Holzhausen OBE, our Director of Policy and Public Affairs, answered carers’ questions on accessing carers’ financial support, how to prepare to become a carer, and coping with loneliness on This Morning, alongside Kate Garraway
Great to see this report by Foundations which continues to show the value that FDACs offer children, families and the criminal justice system. Especially the lower likelihood of contested hearings which we know from our previous analysis for Centre for Justice Innovation drives lower costs.
V proud of the work we did together Apteligen Justice First NE Law Centre 🧡 Tracey Gyateng Justice Together Initiative 🧡 James Bowles❤️This report presents reflections & learning for funders, not for profits & data practitioners, on how to support organisations on their data journeys justicelab.org.uk/wp-content/upl…
A hugely important report from Nuffield Trust on the decline of support for unpaid carers. We've known about these headlines for a while now, especially the lack of accountability at a policy level. Things urgently need to change. nuffieldtrust.org.uk/research/falli…
Such an important global issue and we are delighted to have played a small part in developing the final #Commonwealth cost toolkit.
Some important reflections on the role of a theory of change as part of a wider data strategy for charities: charitydigital.org.uk/topics/can-the… With Kerry McCarthy & Tracey Gyateng Thanks to Charity Digital & Law Centres Network for their support!
It was a real pleasure working with Spirit of 2012 What Works Centre for Wellbeing Carers UK and the 10 grantees of the #CarersMusicFund . Our evaluation of the fund, along with learning briefings from those involved, are available here: spiritof2012.org.uk/cmfsummit
Gus O'Donnell live from #CarersMusicFund summit this afternoon: If you really want to improve #Wellbeing you need to work with those who have low wellbeing, those in despair, and aim to pull them up. Interventions like this are really good value for money. #Wellbeing Wednesday
