This video just popped up on TikTok and my god. How inconsequential, how unimportant and transparently distracting the silly talk of “property damage” at campus protests really is.

For those unaware, Wagenknecht is a former member of Germany's Left party who broke away to form a new party that, among other things, wants to restrict immigration and reverse climate policies, is transphobic, & believes racism is a 'perception.'

Platforming her is atrocious.

It should be much bigger news that Dartmouth’s Chair of Jewish Studies has been banned from campus for trying to defend her students.

Many of these protesters are Jewish.

Many of these faculty members are Jewish.

Calling these protesters antisemitic is putting them in danger.

In this house we do not heap praise on police for not being violent, and also, imagine choosing to be more violent than, in Micol Seigel's terms, literal violence workers.

Every single UK university should offer at least one scholarship for a Palestinian student from Gaza. It is frustrating to see very few universities doing this. If your university isn’t offering scholarships, demand that they do. This is the least they can offer in support now…
