In keeping with this year’s Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days theme of ‘Routes, Networks, Connections’, the Society is mounting an exhibition at its headquarters on Lincoln’s Steep Hill. Please do call in and have a look at our (mostly) 17th century home.

Our Dr Erik Grigg's display about the Lincolnshire Home Guard is now on display at Sleaford Museum. It contains maps of the structure of the force, some of the badges they wore, publicity from the war and a Civil Defence helmet. If you are in the area, do check it out!

Wendron #Cornwall Church restored 1867-69 by Edmund and John Dando Sedding (i.e. before he was famous) and although neither Pevsner nor the Listing say as such, these very fine choir stalls must be their design. St Michael and St Henry the Hermit beautifully carved.
