The average person overestimates how much time they need in the gym to build muscle. My workouts are usually around 45 mins-1 hour. I do 4-6 exercises total for 2-3 working sets. I train close to failure, mostly in the 5-15 rep range. I take 3-5 minutes rest between sets.
