The Heritage Electric Trains Trust has launched the appeal to fund the cost of the restoration of the first vehicle of 4-SUB unit 4732. Car One will cost £52K; of which HETT has to date raise £27K, leaving a £25K shortfall. The fundraiser is here: bit.ly/4dECDot

Car One was loaded last night at Margate and is now on the way to Ramparts at Barrow Hill where the cosmetic restoration can begin. A huge project that has been over six years in the making, a very proud day for the team.
