Redline back in Herts ⁉️ Thanfully not. On loan to Red Rose currently however is ZF AStronic driven ADL Enviro200 YY64 YKG. It is seen in Batford estate, Harpenden, with a 357 for Borehamwood.

3 ADL Enviro300s remain active at Arriva Stevenage, the rest facing / having faced scrap. These have been some of my favourite types of bus since I started spotting, 5 years ago - the 6-pot Cummins paired with a ZF Ecomat box is a brilliant combo & I'll be so sad to see them go.

The UK Railway is becoming bland the more they continue to introduce these trains with 0 model differences compared to previous 80x models.

Arriva motors, both former and current, were out in force at South East Bus Festival. The three pictured here are all preserved, but Gillingham, TW & Maidstone all brought 1 or 2 to the show. Photos captioned.

Last week the 357 saw it's first 6-cylinder motor since Arriva times, in the form of recently-purchased YX12 GGP. This is propelled by a Cummins ISBe 6.7, a vastly superior engine to the 4.5, and is a good spec inside. This particular vehicle has recently been revived after 5yrs.
