Imagine Buck reaching out to Tommy (yeah I know that sounds miraculous) who goes like: "Listen, Evan... I'll forever cherish what we had but I think I've had enough heartbreak. It's been like, one year? I've moved on, Evan. I just want to be happy... and I guess I finally am now"

The writers completely wrote themselves into a corner with Tommy: -118/Buck needs him? Already done x2 -Tommy’s NDE? Requires a proper reintroduction beforehand -Buck calling him? Needs to explain why so much time apart w/ no contact My pick? They’ll go for the accidental meeting

There's a clear pattern in bucktommy: Tommy always walks away, while Buck never tries to make him stay.

What I don't get about Buck is why he's so passive with Tommy. Coffee date aside, he was constantly waiting for things to happen or for people to decide for him. Yet he has no problem making big gestures for others. He needs to do something BIG for Tommy to show that he cares.

By the end of the season, Buck will probably realize that he’s getting older, lonelier, and is the only one not in a relationship while everyone around him is settled (partner, kids). And here comes Buck’s dilemma: will it be "I want this, too" or "I want you, Tommy"?

Tommy: *survives a helicopter crash* Buck: "Guys, do you think I should call him? 😕"

"Evan… I’m leaving." "Wait–what do you mean you’re leaving?" "After we broke up last year, I asked for a transfer. I didn’t think it would go through… but it was approved one month ago. I’m leaving for Chicago in a few days. There’s nothing left here that’s holding me anymore."

Regarding the bachelor auction, there's a guest actress who wins a date with a main. So it's either Eddie or Buck. Isn't Eddie supposed to have a love interest already? And if it's Buck, how will it play out? 🤔

If Tommy was meant to go for this long, then switching the kitchen and helicopter scenes order would have made much more sense. Because what do you mean the guy steals a helicopter for you, gets chased by the FBI, probably gets suspended for months and you don't contact him?

It was awkward and showed 0 creativity, since they clearly tried to recreate the hookup scene with Tommy. Holding each other’s heads the whole time without kissing and slamming into the walls as if they were fighting 🫢. Then copy-pasted it with a woman to prove Buck is BISEXUAL.

The fact that Tommy would have gone above and beyond to plan the perfect Valentine's Day, including a helicopter ride (don't worry, it's not stolen this time) to the most romantic place, and now it'll never happen 😔

In another life, this is what Tommy would open his door to: "You asked what I was doing on Saturday. So here I am."

Maybe focus on the characters' storylines instead of wasting money on "beenados" or 4-part going to space bs?
