Today at 7:30pm, the 1885 SINGERS will perform Dvorak’s Stabat Mater. The text is a setting of Mary’s words at the foot of the cross. Tickets are £15 (£12 concessions)

St Michael des Andaines - exquisite church : High Roman Catholic service in Latin sung in Gregorian chant - very different from St Mary’s, Parish of Putney But very lovely - luckily the sermon was in French not Latin so I could make out most of it
