A historic day for Colorado and for the first time ever — we released 5 wolves, 3 males and 2 females, in Grand County today. Captured in Oregon, the wolves were evaluated by our veterinarians & biologists, fitted with GPS collars & transported to Colorado for their release.

An excellent in depth The Narwhal article on Heli-skiing impacts on endangered southern mountain caribou home ranges in the COVID-19 pandemic - & a bit of a tired industry anti-science response. thenarwhal.ca/bc-heli-skiing…

Managing human-bear conflict is complex. That's why we have a detailed, well researched recovery plan to inform management. When Todd Loewen chooses to instill fear in people, he's ignoring the recovery plan, input from experts, and not moving us closer to coexistence.

It's rare to see wolverines, so it's no surprise that population info in Alberta is sparse. But if you're lucky enough to spot them or their sign, you can help! Submit your observation to WolverineWatch.org, a group filling in some of those data gaps. #TrailcamTuesday

Basically impossible to drive at night without wearing sunglasses. These new headlights are blinding. Incredibly dangerous. Insane that this is allowed while so many more minor car design features are prohibited on safety grounds.
