A big toilet week. 1st: A proposed public toilet (costing $1.7 million) was halted. "The state will hold funding until San Francisco delivers a plan to use this public money more efficiently. If they cannot, we will go back to the legislature to revoke this appropriation." (1/2)

2nd: NYC Council passed a bill to "identify locations in every ZIP code across the five boroughs where a public restroom should be located." HOWEVER, this only requires the city to study the issue, not to actually build toilets. (2/2) ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…
