Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to talk about how bringing teachers, universities, civic leaders and community groups together can begin to make a difference in how multilingualism and language learning are promoted

⬇️ This article by Sascha Stollhans is an example of the discussions taking place across the education sector following the recent House of Lords debate on the importance of eductional trips and exchanges. The APPG is very keen to hear views from stakeholders!

Only 5.8% of pupils with a home language took a qualification in their heritage language in 2023 (JCG 2023) So sad! We need to encourage more students gaining qualifications in their home languages by talking more about their benefits! #languages #mfl

Raising awareness of this webinar from Department for Education -funded National Consortium for Languages Education initiative. Support is often lacking for bilingual students' home/heritage language education - it would be great if all schools were able to tap into a more joined-up approach as will be explored here.
