Yesterday I spoke at the House of Lords to members of APPG Modern Languages about the Multilingual Manchester project that I founded and led at School of Arts, Languages and Culture The University of Manchester and about the Manchester City of Languages initiative that continues its legacy.
⬇️ This article by Sascha Stollhans is an example of the discussions taking place across the education sector following the recent House of Lords debate on the importance of eductional trips and exchanges. The APPG is very keen to hear views from stakeholders!

Raising awareness of this webinar from Department for Education -funded National Consortium for Languages Education initiative. Support is often lacking for bilingual students' home/heritage language education - it would be great if all schools were able to tap into a more joined-up approach as will be explored here.
