A lot of star power at today’s rally, with HUGE, Joey Radio, Rep. Bill Huizenga, Darren McCarty, Andre Rison & others taking the stage. But the real stars were all of the student-athletes who spoke so eloquently and their peers who were there in support. Great day! #LetThemPlay

The message here is unclear to say the least. The only part that remains obvious is the Michigan HHS Dept is not listening, has yet to identify metrics, and has little interest in righting a wrong. Maybe they open things up Monday. If not, time for the MHSAA to loosen the reins!

Disappointment with the MHSAA & its Rep Council runs deeper than with Governor Gretchen Whitmer & the Michigan HHS Dept. The government’s lack of compassion is no longer a surprise. But the group that claims to be fighting for student-athletes has failed miserably by not deregulating winter teams!

Just watched the Michigan Legislature review a motion to reinstate Winter Sports. I was disappointed with how it was presented on behalf of student athletes. The person was not knowledgeable of the protocols we are following to keep@our athletes and ourselves safe. #LetThemPlay

Consistency is what separates good players from great players. Anyone can have 1 good practice. The greats consistently act, think, and practice at a high level no matter the circumstances or how they feel. Come rain or shine, hell or high water, the greats bring their A-game.

Don’t mistake routine for commitment. Great players never go through the motions. They don’t just show up, they’re engaged, they’re enthusiastic, and they’re bought in.
