In his words: As a Senior Cross Country Scholar-Athlete, I learned to be Resilient, to push my limits & also to be a teammate. This experience is something I will never forget, I thank my teammates & Mr. Parker for believing in me & helping me improve so much throughout my year.

In honor of Senior Week for #AikenXC, we recognize Syriene Djakata who completed her 2nd season of running after taking last year off to be with her daughter. She’s an All-League runner, multiple time CMAC Champion and FFA member. Syriene’s next steps are to Cincinnati State!

In her own words: As a Senior Cross Country Scholar-Athlete, I learned to be brave & passionate about everything I do. There are obstacles to face and goals to accomplish - it takes everything you have. No pressure just run at your own pace with confidence and a mind to win!

In honor of Senior Week for #AikenXC, we recognize 3 yr runner, Penda Seck! ‘23 CMAC Runner of the Year & multi-CMAC champion, Penda is evidence of how goal-setting & off-season conditioning create outstanding results. A member of our Aiken FFA, her next steps are on to college!

In her words: As a Senior Cross Country Scholar-Athlete, I learned that you can do whatever you set your mind to. In the past 3 years if someone  told me that I would become "Female Cross Country Runner of the Year '' I wouldn't have believed it. (1/2)

But, I set my mind towards it, I worked for it and I got it. Needless to say, I'm so grateful for the support I got from my teammates and my coach. (2/2) #AikenXC #SWOOP

Big day of OHSAA Sports action for your Falcons! #AikenXC travels to VOA park for the District XC Meet. Boys run at 11:30am and girls run at 12:30pm. The boys of #FCAiken travel to Moeller for a second round matchup with the 1 seeded Crusaders. Match begins at 3pm. #SWOOP

ICYMI: The #AikenXC teams traveled to Voice of America Park on Saturday for the OHSAA Sports district meet. #SWOOP

Boys finished 12th out of 16 teams in the Division 1 Race. Antoneyio Dear was our #1 runner. PRs by Antoneyio Dear, Willy Vasquez-Gomez, and Keontae Baker. #AikenXC

Girls finished 12th out of 20 teams in the Division 2 Race. Penda Seck was our #1 runner. PRs by Ankita Rai and Ariel Williams. Runners with Courage for the meet were Kiayla Richardson and Selvin Vasquez-Velasquez. #SWOOP
