It's so upsetting to see this harassment of IPAS applicants happening on the road I live on. Garda Info , this is a very dangerous situation and can't be allowed to continue. Harassment and intimidation are illegal.

You know there are some people who just go above and beyond? And you think, if everyone was like this, the world would be a lot better? Kodzo was one of those. RIP 😔

The next GE has the potential to provide real change. I look forward to working hard to make sure that it does. We don’t have the deep pockets of the larger parties, GoFundMe contributions will make sure that we reach everyone in Dublin-Rathdown. gofundme.com/f/elect-sinead…

I brought forward a bill to remove the need for home addresses on ballot papers earlier this year in advance of the local elections. Government could have dealt with this... They have not.

Long-term support for brain injury has been completely outsourced to the non-profit sector. They do great work, but they don't have the resources or nationwide coverage to provide supported housing for all who need it.

At our think-in this week we heard from and discussed energy, disability, and housing policy with incredible experts in these fields. We in the Social Democrats are invested in evidence-led, solution-based policies that will make a difference in people’s lives. 1/2

BREAKING: Daisy Hall, five months, was in the back of a car which was hijacked this afternoon. She was in a Silver Nissan Qashqai Hatchback, registration number 10-D-21328, from Mountjoy Square, in Dublin 1. The car was hijacked by a man who is not known to Daisy or her family.

I'm very excited to have the national treasure that is BQ host a table quiz for my election campaign. It's a fundraiser to help me reach as many voters as I can in Dublin Rathdown for the upcoming general election. Come along, Wednesday 9 October in the Dropping Well 1/2

What did the Budget do on housing? It put investor funds ahead of Generation Rent & fails on affordable housing It lacked vision, it lacked new ideas, it failed to invest the surplus billions on affordable housing Real action would be banning investor funds My analysis 1/2:

It's clear that this Govt has systematically failed people with disabilities. We need a senior Minister for Disability so the interests of disabled people in Ireland are represented at the Cabinet table. This will be a dealbreaker for the Soc Dems in any Govt formation talks.

Today we launched our disability policy. We would spend an additional €1.1bn each year to: - introduce a weekly cost of disability payment of €30 - give pay parity to Section 39 workers - implement the Disability Capacity Review. Sinéad Gibney socialdemocrats.ie/soc-dems-launc…
