The SFI Fellowship Programme is open! I can't recommend this programme enough to any postdocs interested in learning how a funding agency operates and wanting to develop their transferable skills. I'll be chatting about my experience at the webinar next week! All info below -

The Programme has 2 streams:
the 2024 PROJECTS stream will run as a fixed deadline call (deadline is 25 April 2024);
the current AWARDS stream remains open on a rolling call basis.

Congratulations to Dr Christopher Broderick School of Physics UCC who has been awarded a €1.12m The Royal Society Science Foundation Ireland University Research Fellowship.

His work will focus on investigating new capabilities in photonic & electronic devices based on nanowires

Minister Simon Harris TD today announced the name of the new research and innovation funding agency. Taighde Éireann - Research Ireland will amalgamate the activities and functions of the Irish Research Council and Science Foundation Ireland.
