I just booked my covid-19 vaccination for tomorrow. My team has already booked their appointments for later this week. We are getting vaccinated in preparation to host a culturally sensitive and safe primary vaccination site for Indigenous people living in the region.

I am so thrilled by the support from public health and the region to ensure Indigenous people living here are a priority and given the opportunity to have a safe space for vaccination. This is a fabulous example of what can be accomplished by working together. Much thanks to all.

Getting ready to open the doors for the region’s first Indigenous vaccination site. Thanks to many partnerships, today, the region is putting Indigenous people first. This is a paradigm shift. Today we can begin creating new memories for Indigenous people.
