Elie's book, Allow Me To Retort, is fantastic and everyone should read it. Great modern and historical insights on SCOTUS reform. But also, why not check out his new pod?

So long to Alan Arkin. It was a long time ago, but The In-Laws is still my all time favorite American comedy / buddy film. Mr. Arkin's career and lifelong good-will of course go far far far beyond The In-Laws, but this is the part my heart will never forget.

Thread: Very sad to learn that Bill Friedkin, one of the finest directors of the 1970s American film insurgency is no longer with us. He was a master. And while others are better equipped to assess his life and legacy, I have a small, personal anecdote to contribute. It will...

I'm still in the middle of Alan Wake 2, but I cannot wait to go back and read all of the articles/reviews and listen to the podcasts by my favorite industry peeps! Such an incredible game!

So long to Ryan O'Neal. Barry Lyndon is one of the best films I have ever seen and I see it every time it plays in the theaters in my city (usually about once a year). He was perfect in the role of its solipsistic main character.

Andre Braugher. God. I've worked with a lot of wonderful actors. I'll never work with one better. Stunned and thinking of Ami and his sons and so many memories of this good man that are now a blessing. But too damn soon.

I’m not going to be answering many questions here, about Apple TV’s adaptation of Neuromancer. I’ll have to be answering too many elsewhere, and doing my part on the production. So I thought I’d try to describe that, my part.

On this day, 25 years ago, US audiences got their first look at David Cronenberg's reality bending and body-twisting masterpiece, eXistenZ.

There are a zillion different and legit reasons to remember Roger Corman, his career, and his impact on cinema (including so many legendary careers he got off the ground). One of my favs is his brief cameo in the multi-genre romp The State of Things (1982) by Wim Wenders.

hey once again shoutout too all of the Noclip patrons who allows us to focus on doing our best work without having to worry about some corporate guillotine hanging over our heads 24/7. It's been almost 8 years since we started but I never take it for granted.

I know you already know but I just wanted to say here: Gena Rowlands was the fucking best. Like none other. Her work with JC was monumental and impossible without her. And after all that, she never stopped inspiring. I am forever grateful.
