Went to Morbi, which witnessed the horrific bridge mishap. Met the bereaved families and extended condolences. I visited the site of the tragedy and went to the hospital where the injured are recovering. Also met those involved in rescue ops and chaired a review meeting.

केंद्र सरकार ने पिछले दो साल में सिर्फ दिल्ली के लाखों गरीबों को मुफ्त राशन देने में ढाई हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक खर्च किए हैं। हमने इसके प्रचार-प्रसार पर पानी की तरह पैसे नहीं बहाए, क्योंकि हम गरीब की जिंदगी में वास्तविक बदलाव लाने के लिए जीते हैं।
