Felt a bit fresher today, but nothing to show for it after getting caught up in too many tangle ups out there. Keen to have a fun day out on course tomorrow at one of my all time favourite venues! And start to steer this ship back in the right direction ⛴️ @Ross Bell

Unfortunately no World Cup racing in Crans Montana this weekend for me. Taking some time away from racing and training and working with the team doctors to get to the bottom of some ongoing health issues. Hugely grateful for their support during this tough time📸 Ross Bell

On Wed, a blood test revealed I am suffering from Toxoplasmosis (a parasitic infection). I have been struggling since the first WC rounds in Brazil, and it's a relief to finally know why. I can now focus on my recovery and the last races of the season. 📸 @rossbellphotography

No World Champs for me this year. I had to make the tough call to sit this one out as I haven't had the chance to build the form I need to do the event justice. Home in Christchurch to build some form over the next weeks before Lake Placid and MSA World Cups. 📸 Ross Bell

Happy to be back on the start line after a nightmare season. I hoped for a bit more, finishing well out the 🍑 but in hindsight it was wrong for me to expect it so soon after just a few weeks training under the belt. Only upwards from here with MSA next week! Ross Bell

After 8 years it's time to part ways with Trek Bicycle and Trek Factory Racing-Pirelli XC. There's been highs and lows. Great results, poor results, and everything in between. Most importantly I've made lifelong memories. A huge thanks to everyone who made it possible! See you at the races ✌️
