Ok, so I know I’m late - but we had a brilliant Easter at my wonderful sister Libby Heffernan’s farm near Wickepin last week. It’s always so great to spend time in the wheatbelt (with an Easter egg..!)

Yesterday we spent time on the bayou! There were gators, turtles, Spanish moss, Captain Reggie and two v happy writers! (Some guy dropped his phone into the swamp - no, he didn’t get it back..)

Researching what a fancy lunch is like at the Commander’s Palace - pretty good! We got to stroll through the Garden District again, and to discuss plotting for Rachael’s new novel over gumbo and 25 cent martinis. We’ll be sad to leave New Orleans tomorrow..!
