"Narcissist amnesia" is when narcissists pretend to forget or they’ll deny past actions & behaviors, especially those that are harmful or negative. This selective memory leads to confusion & frustration. It’s a manipulation tactic used by them to escape accountability.

Dr James Shea I had to resign a leadership role to make the "support" plan stop - it was out & out bullying. I think the only way we stop it is to enable Heads to dismiss teachers without having to smash their careers to do so. So they can say you're a good teacher but a poor fit - & move on

Toxic individuals are very vindictive. If they believe you have stood up to them, you become enemy #1. There is no level they won't stoop to, in an effort to make you pay for what you have done to them. The amount of intense hatred for you is every lasting.

I do not recommend entering any female-dominated profession. It is guaranteed that the women with personality disorders are running it.

Have also seen this happen to objectively excellent colleagues.

Thought for the day. For all the ‘improvement’ pressed upon teachers, retrieval, rosenshine, I do/we do, starters, do now’s, TLAC, scripted/standardised lessons… It’s not delivered any significant improvement. I say this after decades watching from within the classroom.
