For almost 2 years....

A lot of Americans in Ireland, particularly those in business, can’t seem to comprehend why Ireland is so aghast at watching one country starve another. Read a history book.

I have never felt so shaken. Children are dying of hunger. Falling one after another, like petals of a dying flower. Under our watch. How do you sleep, Presidents, Foreign Ministers, political leaders, diplomats, civil servants - doing nothing to stop Israel’s starvation

It used to be a matter of shame for any PM to be criticised by human rights or humanitarian charities as being complicit with war crimes - but you have to be devoid of all morality to be told by Save the Children that your statements are basically a joke 👇🏾👇🏾

The most evil people in the world wear suits and ties, their hair is neatly combed, they speak "well". They are "civilised". They are "educated". They have "manners". They build impenetrable mazes of delusion inside their cosseted minds. They think we can't see them. But we do.

I think of these beautiful souls often.

Israel murdered the most famous of all Palestinian footballers yesterday. Sky Sports, BBC, and all the rest silent on it. If it was an Israeli legend it would be constant news with highlight reels. Well done to Marca.

On a rare occasion, UEFA has actually spoken about a Palestinian footballer. But without saying how he was killed. Or who killed him. As if it were some natural death. He was murdered by Israel, just like the more than 400 Palestinian footballers you’ve chosen to forget.

One day when other pariah states murder journalists w/ impunity, western journalists will have to face the uncomfortable truth that in many news rooms Palestinians were not seen as human enough because of the colour of their skin which is why they never spoke out to protect them.
