Excellent news that Cancer Research UK will continue to fund research nurses in NI, including the fantastic Ruth Boyd, senior research nurse in Belfast. Research Nurses are key to NI's success in clinical cancer research.
Our Trustee, Madeleine Meynell, manages the drug approvals work we do with NICE. In this blog she explains that the amount of money available to spend on most new treatments has been frozen since NICE was created in 1999.
