I would really love to read a Beyoncé interview where she talks about her musical process in detail. We’re taking a lot about the “why” but I really want to know the “how,” from her. She clearly is a master in the studio, swish she would share the wisdom

I should add, I'd love the interviewer to be able to match her when it comes to the technical stuff, someone well versed in hip-hop and R&B and pop production (probably not me, unless I really prepped)! Like an old-fashioned Musician magazine total nerd interview

I got addicted to reading these kinds of interviews while doing the Joni book. I know I write cultural criticism more often myself but musicians are musicians, they have a lot to say about MUSIC!
