Some critiques of Arundhati Roy’s memoir are quite misplaced. The book is NOT about a booker-prize winning literary star but a daughter, a sister, a lover, a dreamer, & a mother. All deeply flawed. It isn’t a perfect book. It’s heartbreaking. And, that’s how it stayed with me.
