All the push back I've seen against the complaint to the Charity Commission that I made with @goodlawproject and Annie Ashton has come from anonymous accounts or people financially dependent on GambleAware and/or the industry. No surprise there then.

The age old debate…

I have chosen not to reply to individual comments because to me it shows another prime example of what is fundamentally wrong with how industry funded charities work and defend themselves.

The complaint made to CC about GambleAware is a 16 pg dossier of factual info. Interesting that the pushback rc about the complaint are from those who are also on the take from the gambling industry. The bullish & passive aggressive comments I've had do these charities no favours

Gambleaware are the leading charity who are supposed to be protecting people from gambling harm. They were created by the industry and are funded by the industry. This is dangerous. It is important the Charity Commission step in now & clean this up!

Annie is a courageous and tireless campaigner for gambling reform. The need for a mandatory levy which is handled by statutory organisations has never been more important. It is the most important step to bring about real change.
