Christina was the best of all of us. She was one of the most caring, passionate and driven people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Her smile would light up a room. Her kindness lifted people.

Christina McKelvie's partner, Keith Brown, along with her sons, Lewis and Jack, are deeply saddened to announce her passing this morning at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

This is just awful. Christina was kind, genuine, open, honest, hardworking and dedicated. Being elected alongside her as one of the ‘Lanarkshire Lasses’ & having her there was so important. Her two laddies were her pride and joy- this is just so unfair. Thoughts with K,L and J x
