Fantastic, clear-eyed, well researched repsonse from Dr Mike Jones to some of the wrongs in Hunt's article of privilege. Esp: “For a museum like the V&A, to decolonise is to decontextualise.” mikejonesonline.com/contextjunky/2… #museum

I've been working predominantly out of the office recently & developed all kinds of issues from not having an ergonomic work station. My solution: Use an adjustable height ironing board as a sit/stand desk. Marcus reckons it's the closest he's seen me to doing ironing in 8 years

The world rallied around Notre Dame because they understand the cultural & spiritual significance of it. How can people not translate that to Uluru? Because Indigenous cultures are seen as inferior. The crux is the entrenched racism & dismissal of Indigenous people & cultures.

If you’re an educator, it’s not cool or funny to publicly shame, belittle, or bully students. This shouldn’t have to be said.

Too many Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander kids grow up in care w/out knowing who they are. It’s taken me 30+yrs& I’m finding out more every day. Being placed with my non Aboriginal family didn’t resolve any of that. It’s been a struggle every day. Help our kids stay connected

Something is in the air. As someone more interested in relationality than linearity it’s heartening to see us moving beyond the obsession with origins, discoveries, and what deb verhoeven would call the ‘seminal moment’ to instead look at repetitions, relations, and returns

Ok so this is the 5th time I've tried to bake something for the ESRC UniMelb and failed miserably.. again for the 5th time. So is baking soda and baking powder not the same thing? My banana bread is more like a solid banana slab

When a boy hits a girl, it doesn’t mean he likes her. Let’s teach the upcoming #GenerationEquality that violence is never the answer. #orangetheworld #WorldChildrensDay
