‘So Who’s Winning Then…?’ 60x60cm oil on board I think I’m pretty much done for now. I’m trying to bring myself to the point, if the painting has told its story and it’s said enough, then I should pretty much call it finished.

My current work in progress inspired by a visit to a grooming parlour ( I swear they used to call them barbershops 🤣) with my brother during my last visit to Ghana. My space is beginning to look more like a film studio than an artist’s studio 🤣

This is the last week to see the EmpowerHER exhibition at CasildART Gallery nr Marble Arch London. The show closes at 5pm on Sunday 7th April. If you still haven’t seen it and are available Sunday afternoon, I’ll be there between 2pm - 5pm.

If it bothers you… fix it!! That’s been the moral of my tale this week. I had a real niggle about the figure on the left leaving the painting. It was drawing your eye out and away from the centre of focus. So I created a new figure looking in and making a trio of ladies chatting
