While there continues to be NO support for women who are surrogates there should be NO surrogacy. No ifs and no buts.

My story. My words.

I am a woman who was exploited by a family member, that is why I am fighting to ban surrogacy. Surrogate mothers deserve our sympathy and support not to face online harassment. We are victims of exploitation. Do not make our trauma worse.

I need to address this immediately, this article concerns me and it has been linked to my story. There are many facts that need to be known.

1. The child pictured in the article was at the time of printing legally mine and at no time was my consent sought for publication. The article originally included a picture of my womb which was thankfully removed by the newspaper.

2. The adults in the article whilst promoting their fertility business seem to be alluding to the fact that I was a stranger. I was not they did not 'find' me. They came to my house to ask for help.

3. At the time of printing I was seriously ill as a result of helping them and they decided that the best way to help me was to take me to court.
