The shooter in Uvalde, TX shot 38 kids & adults; 21 died & 17 wounded. I watched this coverage & it was not until second day of coverage that the number wounded was released. Still not seeing the total # shot being mentioned. Are officials/politicians trying to control the story?

A teacher who was murdered in the Uvalde shooting last week, and her husband who died the next day of a grief heart attack, had their funerals today. Then 3 active shootings happened simultaneously tonight, and we had to decide whether to feature all 3 or focus on the deadliest.

Today marks 1 year with Pear VC. It feels both much shorter & much longer all at once. So grateful for this team, which has grown a lot in that time. In true metrics fashion, I had to check, and I oversaw the closing of a whopping 103 investment transactions in that time 😮

I don’t think I ever realized how much I need this and now I can’t stop thinking about how this would improve my workflow (browser tab reduction, eliminating sub folder structures, maintaining raw notes right alongside the cleaned up version, etc etc). Google make this happen!

When your Uber is 10 min away stuck in traffic so you leave your hotel and instead jump right into a cab that can zoom down Market street with no other cars, you realize that the old school way is sometimes better.
