Another week, another couple of fantastic school events. This time we're on a wild hunt through Irish mythology and folklore with Anna Hoghton. We'll be at @ElmleaSchools and E-ACT Badock's Wood Academy on Wednesday, with Anna signing copies of #OrlaAndTheWildHunt after each event. Wonderful!

Catherine Emmett Orla and The Wild Hunt by Anna Hoghton has monsters, giantsand myth from irish folklore. The Billow Maiden by has a scottish selkie (maybe more UKS2), Wren by Lucy Hope 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿📚🪶 has a welsh dragon. All mythical creatures written in modern stories/twists.

Finished this lovely book last night. A brilliant read filled with Irish folk lore, magic and adventure!

A bit late to the party on this one, but The Mask of Aribella by Anna Hoghton was sublime! Such a perfect group of characters. A story full of adventure, mystery and magic. The messages of self-belief are fantastic for young readers. 5 ⭐️ Highly recommended. Chicken House
