Popped down to Finsbury Park yesterday to check out the 8⃣ new lamp posts at the Manor House entrance. Great to see Haringey Council continue to invest in the safety of our local park. 🌳

Young people are cooking up success tonight at Dusty Knuckle Bakery in #Haringey 👏 Through a five-week pizza-making programme, they gained real skills & confidence✨ Cllr Zena Brabazon & Cllr Ajda Ovat joined in to celebrate their journey - topped off with some delicious pizza🍕

Thank you to the Gardens Residents Association for updating residents on our recent success at a Haringey Council Licensing Sub-Committee hearing.

We recently flagged that the bend warning sign on Endymion Road is not conspicuous enough. Haringey Council's Highways Team has therefore agreed to introduce: ☑️A new sign on a yellow board ☑️An additional slow road marking ☑️Refreshed road markings ☑️Anti-skid surfacing

Building homes for local people 🏡 Come join us for a tour with the Deputy Leader of Haringey Council, Councillor Cllr Sarah Williams, of 272 new council 🏡 progressing in Tottenham Hale. Find out more about our high-quality house-building programme 👇 haringey.gov.uk/haringey-homes

"If young people have a reason to be excited about their future, they'll invest in their present." Great work Dusty Knuckle Bakery! 👍

Thank you to Bibi & the LICS for organising today’s bazaar fundraiser at Wightman Road Mosque — a wonderful event bringing the community together for a worthy cause. I was pleased to join the Leader of Haringey Council, Mayor of Haringey, cllr colleagues & local police in solidarity

A pleasure to attend today's fundraising bazaar at Wightman Road mosque in #Harringay with Council Leader Peray Ahmet, Cabinet Leads Ajda Ovat & Dana Carlin, and (not pictured here) our Mayor Cllr Ahmed Mahbub. Well done Wightman Road Mosque for bringing our community together for a good cause.

It was great to meet the young people at Catherine West summer school and to talk to them about all things local government. Interesting questions and discussions which served as a reminder that as politicians at local and national level we need to listen more to young voices
