Typical Monday (for care home list as big as ours): 4 ME referrals, one crem4, two discussions with coroners office, one after-death analysis plus the MCCD I did when logging on to catch up yesterday. Good EOLC and ACP meeting patient wishes re PPD; tough admin #carehomesmatter

This is life (and career, but most importantly life) saving service. It’s not something that can be done by occupational health and the cost to deliver it is tiny. To be able to measure this move in increases in doctor suicides will be so extraordinarily, unbelievably awful

So for her birthday Anna received a handy stamp to improve efficiency in dealing with a range of requests, ranging from inappropriate hypnotic/opioid orders, secondary care work dumping and I’d imagine many issues with her children. (List not exhaustive) 🙅🏼‍♀️

Something very wrong with policy & leaders

A&E rising demand isn't driving long waits in A&E. Attendance rates are not dramatically up from pre-pandemic levels. The real issue is collapse of social/community care provision & some increased acuity. This is driving longer stays & means fewer open beds for ppl to go into
