Amane didn’t “save” him through religion. He doesn't care about that. She saved him through the pureness of her heart. She opened him up, made him admit his wrongdoings, then gave him a second chance when he needed it most.

i don't think fuutas crime is forgivable at all. but the punishments handed out by milgram are so ass that giving them out feels like a moral faling to me. It's torturing for the sake of it. not to mention the fact that we're using a random unrelated fifteen year old as a medium
