We traveled to Washington High School Rugby Club last night to play undefeated Washington and a rematch against Lincoln. Both teams play fantastic rugby and were a tough test for us. We came home with two wins and no try’s against us. Another big week next week SEP Rugby

Friday we had two solid wins against SEP Rugby and Iowa City Youth Rugby Club. Back in Altoona for a big week against Urbandale Rugby and EastHighRugby!

Update from Fridays matches. We came home with two shut out wins against East and Urbandale High School Rugby. We finished the regular season 11-1 and qualify as the #2 seed coming into the State Tournament this Friday at West Des Moines Valley Rugby Tiger Stadium. Details TBA

Schedule has been released for Iowa Youth Rugby Association Class 2A STATE Tournament. We will play Cedar Falls at 6:50pm. Look forward to seeing everyone at West Des Moines Valley Rugby Valley High School Tiger Stadium, 1001-1099 39th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265.

Week 1 Scores…back to work and onto week 2!

Week 2 scores. Ladies played tough and were in it with SEP Rugby

Week 3 Results! Played tough against WSR in the second half, but they showed why they are one of the top teams in the state. Second match against Roosevelt we made some hard hits and ran solid lines. Thanks again to ISU womens rugby for volunteering to help run the tourny!

Week 4 results against Cedar Rapids and Fort Dodge. Both teams are coached really well, so we had our work cut out for us. Our girls stayed focused on defense. Offensively we ran hard lines on the wing which allowed the middle to open up some. Onto Week 5 in Central Springs!

Last night was a tough night against Cedar Falls and Central Springs. The scores don’t show how hard our girls played. Focus on State! Come to Southeast Polk High School on Sunday, October 30, and support our girls! Times TBA
