Seeing a Cartoon Network series being marketed as coming soon to Disney+ has got to be the most surreal and backwards thing in awhile. It’s so strange. That being said, the Gumball revival looks fun. Hope it has the manic energy of the original series.

Sony Pictures Animation has announced the first trailer of KPop Demon Hunters will be releasing tomorrow while also showing the new logo for the film. I'm very curious about this one and seeing how it turns out.

Sony Pictures Animation just dropped the new trailer for KPop Demon Hunters. This really looks pretty great as I love the anime influence in the animation and also just how goofy the premise and humor is. Looks like another winner from Sony.

Disney has announced the release dates for the upcoming films from Pixar and Walt Disney Animaiton Studios in 2028. A new Pixar film will be released on June 23, 2028 while a new Disney Animation film on November 22, 2028. Curious what they will be once they're fully revealed.

One thing that I love about Lilo and Stitch is how fantastic the writing is. Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois are very trusting of the audience so they don't over explain elements and it just conveys what happens perfectly while having each emotion earned. It's simply stellar.

Have some concept art from The Wild Robot by the film's production designer Raymond Zibach. You can really feel the influence of Bambi in this artwork and I'd go as far as to call this Zibach's best work and given he designed the first three Kung Fu Panda films, that says a lot.

Pixar has just released the final trailer for Elio and I can tell there are some really funny moments in this trailer. I do have a lot of faith that this is gonna be a really emotional and sweet film and one I'm gonna really connect with. I can't wait to see this very soon.

Twenty years ago today, Madagascar was released. One of the most playful and fun films released by DreamWorks, this film has plenty of laughs thanks to its fun cast of characters as well as its playful cartoony animation that ended up being a launchpad for other CG franchises.

The Criterion Collection has announced that Isle of Dogs will be joining the collection as a standalone and will also be part of a box set with Wes Anderson's first ten films on September 30th. Very hyped to see this get a release cause I adore this film.

Have some concept art sketches of Anxiety from Inside Out 2 by Rob Thompson. I adore the character design of this character and just how much of a stress ball she looks like. It's one of the best animation character designs of the decade so far.

I just saw Lost in Starlight and I really loved this film. Romance films can be hit and miss with me as they can be done wrong, but this one was done right as it featured lovely animation, an adorable couple with great chemistry, and lovely music. This one was really sweet.

I’ve been trying to maintain a more optimistic approach to film and animation rather than doom and gloom cause I wanna have some hope. Am I worried things could get worse? Of course, but it’s best to have a little hope things could improve than no hope at all.

If you're advocating for someone to lose their job at an animation studio just because you don't like the art style, then you shouldn't really be talking about animation. No one should lose their job over something mundane like that.
