AMAZING from Phoebe Gill - 1:58.8 and into Olympic 800m semi-finals aged 17 Admitted how nervous she was, then said: “We’re at the #Olympics, its serious stuff, I’m not at British Champs anymore” She’s done 1 British Champs EVER, 2 junior UK champs, 3 English Schools Won all 6

Roughly then, in a 6 year period the RFU will have cut about 160 staff. And we wonder why things are so shambolic, particularly at lower level club/community game and the school game. What will happen when the volunteers become too old to volunteer? telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…

I get it, respect is central value for rugby. And head injuries aren’t to be taken lightly. But being banned for being ‘disrespectful’ is pretty wet. Maybe just my interpretation of the language, but it reads as ‘RFU Core Values’ speak (core values they mostly ignore themselves)

This is nuts. One of rugby’s greatest assets is that fans can mix. Am I becoming a dinosaur? Are separate away ends something people genuinely want?
