My students were tasked with making their own “word wall” of Physical Process we learned about last week! I’m so proud of their skills and effort! A great activity for all students — especially EBs!

An effective way to cultivate classroom culture & get students to buy into your classroom management is to celebrate them! In all my classes, I awarded my September students of the month with a certificate, candy & homework pass. And suddenly, some of them started to act right!🤣

Adopt A Kid 2023! My 3rd period students worked hard to beautifully welcome our adoptee! Who had so much fun and loved her gifts! Can’t wait for tomorrow to receive all the videos and pictures from my students (that I forgot to take myself 🤫 I was celebrating okay).

Some kiddos asked why are we still doing work and Anchor Charts in April, and I said because these walls are not going to decorate themselves 🤪 (and I need to know what they’re STILL learning)!

It’s Review Week for ATHS World Geography’s Final CBA of the Year! My students helped to construct their own “Great Wall” of Vocabulary terms (over our unit on Asia)! So proud of them for pushing through these last few weeks 🥺
