Out now on #Sudan: Sophisticated Chinese weaponry, re-exported by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been captured in Khartoum, as well as used in Darfur in a blatant breach of the existing UN arms embargo. Stop selling weapons to the #UAE amnestyusa.org/press-releases…

We held off until we had consent from local responders. Their outrage is ours. On 15 May, a communal kitchen in #AlFasher, #Sudan, was shelled. At least 1 volunteer was killed, 4 injured. The only food source for 500 people is gone. This must stop. Civilians are not targets.

El Fasher is facing a deepening humanitarian crisis as siege and starvation grip the city. Residents line up in desperate queues for ambaz, a stark image of daily suffering. Charity kitchens and local initiatives struggle to help but cover less than 10% of city’s growing needs.

It’s hard to describe the (happy) feeling of seeing children who’ve endured the worst now bent over maths and language tests. For families in Darfur, sending children to school is both a sacrifice and a quiet act of defiance against horror and war.

More evidence of what the 2025 @UNSC Panel of Expert report was pressured to conceal: military equipment entering #Darfur, #Sudan in breach with the UN arms embargo (UNSCR 1556), incl. from #Libya as stunning visual evidence prepared by Centre for Information Resilience clearly shows. Excellent work
